Joan Hands

Joan Hands was born in 1923, and went to the convent school. As an adult, she married and went to South Africa, where she lived a long life. Some of her effects have been kindly donated to our society, and they add to the picture we have of this long-gone school. Apart from the items below, the 1939 photographs are from her. Our thanks to Michael Bosazza.

The school was temporarily evacuated to Strensham Court during the Second World War, hence the writing on the last card
