Kelly's Directories. The complete run of directories up to 1973/4 can be used for reference in the Local Studies and History section of the Central library. These are useful for tracing business activity as well as for private addresses, although people renting accommodation were not normally listed.
Maps: copies of the six inch and 1:10,000 maps and the 25 inch maps for Acocks Green can be found at Acocks Green library as well as Local Studies and History.

A smaller collection, also for reference, is available at Acocks Green library. Library photographs may not be photocopied, but photographic or digital copies may be purchased in some cases. Most of the photographs cover the period from 1890 to 1970.
